H.O.T held their solo concert for the first time in 17 years.
Amid the copyright issues over the group's name, H.O.T successfully opened their 2-day concert '2018 Forever High-five of Teenagers' at the Olympic Stadium. This was their first concert since their last one in 2001, which was held inside the same venue. The members expressed how surreal it felt to come back, meeting their fans after so many years in one place.
Member Jang Woo Hyuk (40) ended up shedding a tear while singing "When You Need Me" in front of their 50,000 fans, and soon enough the fans joined in as well. Although the group had officially disbanded in May of 2001, the continued presence of the interaction between the group and their fans had empowered them for the concert.
Moon Hee Jun (40) stated, "Thank you for allowing us to keep this promise made 17 years ago," referring to the promise that they would all have another concert one day.
