On April 25, Hyoyeon or DJ Hyo guested on SBS Love FM's 'Kim Chang Yeol's Old School' and talked about her DJ debut with "Sober".
Hyoyeon compared how the vocals to "Sober" is different from her past music. She explained, "For Girls' Generation, I have to blend in so I loosen up my voice and sing prettily, but this time, I let go of everything and sang it comfortably. I think this is my real voice. I'm slowly finding my direction."

As for the biggest change between promoting solo and in Girls' Generation, Hyoyeon talked about her style. She said, "Taking care of my physical appearance is not the focus (anymore) and I don't think I even look in the mirror. I think my style has really changed the most from the Girls' Generation (promotion days). In the past, I went all out in styling myself but now I think it's more natural to let myself go."
She also talked about the artists she wants to work with. Hyoyeon said, "There are so many artists like Justin Bieber, who I want to collaborate with. For domestic artists, it's Taeyeon. Her voice is fantastic. It'll be great if I can make a wonderful song and it meets Taeyeon's amazing voice."
