SM Entertainment has made an official statement regarding Girls' Generation Taeyeon's 3-car collision.
On November 28, SM Entertainment confirmed Taeyeon was at fault for the accident as they cited her "careless driving." The label stated, "Today at around 7:40 pm, Taeyeon, who was traveling for a personal schedule near Nonhyun-dong, was in a traffic accident due to her careless driving. She feels sorry to the drivers and passengers of the taxi and will do her best to deal with the accident situation."
As for the Girls' Generation member's condition following the accident, the label said, "After taking measures for the traffic accident, Taeyeon is returning home and is in stable condition. We apologize for causing worry."
As previously reported, Taeyeon suffered a car accident at around 8PM KST on November 28. Witnesses stated Taeyeon's Mercedes-Benz rear-ended a taxi, and due to the initial collision, the taxi hit an Audi vehicle in front of him.
Update: Police have also confirmed Taeyeon had no alcohol in her system.
