On September 7, Korea's The Star Asia revealed that they have launched the Japanese version of 'The Star' magazine.
Like the Korean issue, the Japanese edition covers exclusive interviews with top K-pop stars as well as bringing the latest celebrity news to Japanese K-pop fans.

The first issue of 'The Star' Japanese edition features 2PM's Wooyoung on the front cover. The issue also includes interviews with other idols such as VIXX, JJ Project, Block B, BTOB, A-JAX, and Mnet 'Produce 101' Season 2 contestants.
Some special coverage includes 'Highlight's Japan Tour Live Report', 'Everything about BTS', 'G-Dragon's Special Exhibit', 'Produce 101' Season 2 special', and much more.
