According to a Taiwanese outlet, more than one million spectators had flooded to the theaters to watch 'Real' within the first 3 days upon release; however, such news has been confirmed to be false.
Instead of one million moviegoers as previously reported, a total of 1 million TWD (~ 150,000 USD) was made in sales. When it comes to the number of spectators, that is less than 5,000 people.

Movie ticket prices in Taiwan vary depending on the location, the average adding up to $9 per ticket. If the cheapest price were $8, only about 4,600 people likely went to go see the film.
Reading this, netizens commented, "Hahahahaha", "5,000 to a million what a miracle that is... how humiliating" "I knew it," "There is clearly no such thing as miracles in this world... And I was just getting my hopes up when I read the previous article," "Of course, that wouldn't be the case, Taiwanese people are human beings too you know," "What a major twist this is."
