According to reports on June 8, the final boy group to debut through Mnet's 'Produce 101' season 2 may not be 11-members?
A representative of the industry supposedly said, "The debuting group may not be 11-members. From the beginning of season 2, there was nothing about the group being 11-members. The production staff is currently discussing how many members will be in the final group."
The report also claimed that another rep of 'Produce 101' told them, "Please check through the broadcast how many members will be in the final debuting group."
Previously, it was reported that for the 3rd elimination round set for broadcast this June 9, only 20 trainees survived, instead of the 22 that many expected the number to be due to season 1. The remaining 20 trainees will be dividing into two teams with 10 members each for the final round.
Fans of the show may have to wait until the show's final broadcast, this coming June 13, to find out exactly how many members will be debuting on 'Produce 101' season 2. Mnet, after seeing the reports, simply stated, "We are confirming the validity of the reports."
Do you think 'Produce 101' season 2 should stick to the 11-member group formula, or do you want to see some changes?
