Ousted South Korean president Park Geun Hye has been arrested.
Back on March 27, the prosecutor officially requested an arrest warrant to further investigate the charges of bribery and abuse of power against Park Geun Hye. The arrest warrant was approved and issued on March 31. Around 4:30 a.m. (KST), Park was led to a jail outside Seoul, where she'll be remaining through her trial.

Park Geun Hye is the third former president to be arrested over criminal allegations.
Meanwhile, her confidant Choi Soon Sil and Samsung heir Lee Jae Yong have been arrested and are currently under investigation for their suspicious relation and number of charges regarding the corruption scandal.
