Sharp Gun lives in a small, two-bedroom home with his mother, and said about why he wanted to try and re-model the house himself with, "My mom has a lot of affection for this house. I want to give her comfort in it."
The rapper partnered up with mentor Kim Yong Hyun, and the mother and son went on to exchange rooms, since in the past, Sharp Gun had used the larger room because his mom had insisted on it. Sharp Gun took charge of several elements in the re-modeling process, including re-polishing, painting, and re-purposing old furniture from his home.
He said about the biggest gift he was able to give his mom through this process, "The real gift for my mom is the re-purposed vanity. When she was young, she used to wear makeup. Even now, people tell her that she's pretty. I want to see her getting made up using the vanity."
Both Sharp Gun and his mom couldn't hide their elation at seeing their home transformed, and it makes us happy to see them go through it, too!
