The idol said, "I didn't directly receive a call [regarding the dating news] but everyone around me knew about it. They said to me, 'You were caught on camera,' so I felt shocked that the news broke suddenly even though I knew that it would be leaked one of these days."

Zico then added, "A public relationship could be harder on the woman so I think it's only right for me to be more careful with everything that I do," showing consideration toward his partner. 

Zico also shot the 'Radio Star' panelists with a suspicious glare, asking them, "Are you sure you ('Radio Star' and Dispatch) don't have a special relationship?" referring to how he was booked as a guest immediately following his dating news.
