During the episode, the 9 hip hop producers voted on the rankings of the show's 9 grandma rappers based on their 1st practice round performances. Afterward, producer Lil Boi was asked to choose 1 of the 2 grandma rappers who placed last in the rankings to partner with, while the grandma rapper who did not get chosen would have to take on their 1st round stage alone.
Throughout the ranking and team selection process, the 9 grandma rapper contestants continued to chat among themselves and speak up at inappropriate times, causing MC Shin Dong Yup to scold them with "Please focus!"
He then let out a sigh, saying, "I don't know if I can go on with this program." Partner MC San E agreed, "They're too scary for me to keep doing it."
