On March 8, 'Cheese in the Trap's official OST album was released, and fans of the drama hurriedly obtained a copy. However, there was one thing about the album that people just couldn't ignore: the exclusion of Park Hae Jin in the album photo cards. Images of the actors and actresses, even those who played smaller supporting roles, were all included in the album. That is, all of them save for the leading man Park Hae Jin. Fans immediately protested Park Hae Jin's exclusion from the album, and CJ E&M, the company that distributed the album, was forced to step forward and address the issue.
A rep of the company told eDaily on Wednesday, "The stills or bts images from the set are only usable with permission from the actor's side. Park Hae Jin's agency only allowed the use of his official drama poster so aside from that one, we didn't use any other pictures of him."

Regarding this matter, Park Hae Jin's agency relayed, "CJ E&M did contact us about using the official poster image for the OST. They didn't contact us again after that."
