A controversy has stirred up recently concerning an online post uploaded by Seolhyun's body double who made claims that it was her body, not Seolhyun's, that was used during a CF filming in Thailand.
The post has since been reposted by various netizens under the title 'Message from Seolhyun's body double.' The post explained, "It's my body that was used during the CF filming in Thailand. It's not her body. I'm so sad. Do you know what I mean?"

When the controversy grew out of hand, FNC stepped forward to release the following statement, "Most of the filming included the face and not the entire body so [Seolhyun] filmed the scenes herself. The body double was only limited to the action scenes. When you look at the CF, there was around one second of an underwater scene which needed wires. That's about all that the body double did."
