On the February 3rd edition of 'Radio Star', comedian Yang Se Hyung guested on the show and discussed the payment he received for doing Kyuhyun a favor.
Yang Se Hyung had been asked by his close friend Kim Hee Chul to MC the wedding of Kyuhyun's friend. Yang Se Hyung agreed and performed his duties as promised.
Normally, it's customary to pay the wedding MC in private at the end of the wedding, but because Yang Se Hyung didn't want to bother Kyuhyun on such an important day, the MC chose to leave the venue and collect the payment at a later time.
Yang Se Hyung continued to explain, "I was just going to leave for the time being, but Kyuhyun came out and caught up with me. He paid me, but he gave me four 50,000 won bills (~166.31USD in total) without an envelope or anything!"
As the other guests and MCs of 'Radio Star' started to question Kyuhyun's manners, Kyuhyun quickly explained what had happened.
He exclaimed, "I gave you twenty 50,000 won bills (~831.57USD in total)! I was trying to find an envelope to give you, but I rushed out without one because you were leaving! Yang Se Hyung actually didn't accept any of the money; he simply requested that I buy him a drink in the future, to which I agreed. I feel bad because I've yet to fulfill the promise."
However, the words of kindness took a hilarious turn as Kyuhyun added, "Also, the wedding was at 5 in the afternoon. Who comes that drunk to a wedding at that time?"
Yang Se Hyung, taken aback, quietly said, "Nothing good has come out of this conversation for me", causing laughter on the set.
