Get a bag ready to vomit into because here's another sick case of sexual harassment in Korea to read about.
On January 29, the court relayed the sentence to an uncle who brought his niece, who had been in an orphanage, to his home and raised her, which would seem normal enough, except he proceeded to also rape her for years onward.
At the appeals trial, the Daejeon High Court sentenced Mr. Kim (49) to 8 years in prison and required him to undergo 80 hours of a sexual assault program. He has been sentenced for raping his nice, A (at the time 12 years old), in a tent he set up by a fishing pole in Asan back in 2006, and either sexually assaulting or attempting to do so multiple times henceforth. On top of that, after raping A in his truck in 2012, he gave her 30,000 KRW (~ 25 USD), so he has been sentenced for paying for sex.

A's mother had run away from home, so she had lived in an orphanage since she was two. In 2004, when she was in the fourth grade, she went with her uncle to live at the Kim household. Whenever A turned down his sexual advances, he would curse at her and get angry, so A, who had nowhere to go, would be unable to turn down his sexual advances.
The court stated, "The victim is unable to even properly remember how many times this happened, as well as when and where, in the matter at hand. This was an extremely poor crime against humanity with the nature of the crime demolishing one person's character and life."
Sounds like a screwed up 'Lolita' in real life situation.
