As reports of KARA's disbandment rumor started circulating with three members' contracts near the expiration dates, agency DSP Media addressed the situation on January 6.
The agency stated to Herald POP, "The members have not said anything directly about relocating agencies. While it is true that the three members have been in touch with other agencies, we do not yet know what their exact intentions are."

Previously, the agency had also denied rumors that they were launching remaining member Youngji's solo career. Adding onto talk about her training to be a solo, the rep stated, "It is solely that she is continuing on with the daily training she had always received. The existing members' stances have not been put into order yet. We have never made plans for Youngji's solo preparations."
