In an interview with CBS Radio's 'Kim Hyun Jung's News Show', he said, "The most problematic part is the interpretation of a five year old child in the book. The problem begins where IU expresses an abused child as a sexual figure. It's also problematic that he was drawn wearing fishnets in a pin-up pose."
On explanations that 'Zeze' of the book and IU's title were different characters, he said, "She even put the title as 'Zeze', and to say it's a different character is contradictory. The title is the most sensitive topic to artists because it's the part where the artist first shows the readers their meaning. The label saying that the character is unrelated seems to be pushing it."
He added, "The freedom of interpretations must be protected. However, the reason why she's being criticized is because she showed the public and called it art. You definitely cannot make people who are reading it feel pain. But her 'Zeze' made people think of child abuse and child sexual assault."
He concluded, "The 'Zeze' song and MV should be taken down."
