IU has revealed her intent to take legal action against those who distributed wrongfully depicted, edited photos of her on social media.
On November 1, Dispatch released a report on a statement by IU's label, Loen Entertainment, which went, "Using the captures of the postings we received, we are investigating the accounts and those who disseminated [the photos]."
The singer's edited photos were spread via Facebook this past October 31 under the title 'IU's official risque concept.'

The photos in question show IU on stage at her seventh anniversary fan meeting concert which was held on September 20. Unlike what IU was actually wearing during the concert, the photos were edited so that it appears as if IU is only wearing stockings and black underwear.
Upon finding these photos, IU fans wanted whoever distributed these demeaning photos to be rightfully punished, and it was reported that IU is considering taking legal action.
