Many people have felt over the years that it was a shame Wonder Girls stopped promoting in South Korea to focus on their music in America. Yenny addressed this sensitive topic during their showcase for 'Reboot' on August 3.
Yenny said, "A lot of people don't believe this, but it is true that I feel no regret regarding our advancement into the United States, and it was a precious time for me. There are a lot of memories that remain from that period; us eating sesame leaves, seaweed, and ramen, and going to tour guides are vivid.
"In the past, there was no such thing as free time. When I opened my eyes in the morning, I'd have to go somewhere, go somewhere else briefly, etc., so [that time] is more blurry. Being in America was a time where I was able to think over what I liked and what I wanted to do.
"If I was to be told we should go back to the United States, it could be scary, but regarding putting down what I had at the time, I had felt no burden or fear. I feel like because there was that time, I have even less fear about trying new things, like a band."
