Looks like MBC is willing to take action against companies claiming to be producing a Chinese version of MBC's most popular variety show, 'Infinity Challenge.' The broadcasting station released an official statement on June 30 to make clear their official plans to broadcast a Chinese version of the show in October.
MBC said, "Currently in China, multiple broadcasting and production companies are saying they are personally producing 'Infinity Challenge' or a similar program, causing a disturbance in the market and damaging MBC Contents' image. From hereon, excepting the broadcasting of 'Infinity Challenge' on CCTV1, we will take firm legal action against any behavior that has nothing to do with MBC while making people confused and misunderstand [that program] as MBC's 'Infinity Challenge.'"

In the afternoon of June 30, MBC had created an exclusive contract with the CCTV head office in Beijing, China for the collaboration with CCTV1 for an 'Infinity Challenge' Chinese version to start the broadcasting in October for the Chinese people. It appears this will be the official version and any other rip-off of the show on a separate channel would feel the wrath of MBC!
Twelve episodes will be produced to start airing on October 25.
