At one point during the episode, the CEO took the cast to the recording studio to showcase AOA singing for their album, which he announces will be coming out at the end of October.
In the clip above, Kim Gu Ra states, "But shouldn't they rest a bit after finishing 'Short Hair' promotions," to which the CEO responded, "When the water comes in you have to row," indicating that it is best to continue striking while the iron is hot to maintain popularity.
AOA member Jimin is first to try recording. Although it might sound fine to untrained ears, the CEO could immediately hear something was off. Looking unsatisfied, he pointed out, "In the middle, you keep getting tangled up."
He asks ChoA to do her part instead determining that Jimin is not yet fully prepared. However, his critical ear once again picks up a mistake. "Hey," he states sternly, remarking, "Don't you go higher in this part?" After Choa makes multiple attempts, she ends up making a slight mistake with the lyrics, and the CEO says firmly, "Hey. You come out too. You're not prepared either."
The MCs sympathized with the AOA members at this point, as Kim Sung Joo comments, "It all sounds similar to me."
When CNBLUE's Jonghyun was asked how he thinks his harsh CEO looks, Jonghyun pointed out, "He might look very charismatic, but anyone who sits in that seat will act like that," indicating that anyone who is in the position to carefully oversee the recording has to be stern and picky to record a successful song. At this, Kim Gu Ra hilariously gives the seat a turn and begins spouting criticisms of his own against the other MCs, earning laughs from the set.
