Jang Geun Suk is under fire for a particularly rowdy camping party he had recently.
The actor is being criticized for a loud, disruptive barbecue party held on communal camping grounds past quiet hours. According to reports, Jang Geun Suk and his friends went on a camping trip on August 16 in Gyeonggi Province's Namyangjoo. Though quiet hours started at 11PM, the actor and his acquaintances played loud music and had a drunken party that disrupted other campers until past 1AM.
One camper claimed, "Jang Geun Suk and his male and female acquaintances talked loudly and had a noisy party into the early morning, and the other campers complained... They didn't have basic etiquette, turning on their car's headlights and blasting music constantly. They completely messed up the quiet camping atmosphere."
The witness added that most people on the campground were aware that it was Jang Geun Suk's party and questioned why the Hallyu star wasn't more cautious. He also stated that his own family trip had been ruined.
Jang Geun Suk's agency Tree J Company stated, "Jang Geun Suk went on a camping trip and summer vacation with his friends. It's true that they got caught up in the upbeat atmosphere and were rowdy as it was a while since he's hung out with them. Though they apologized after receiving complaints at the time, he is apologetic that he wasn't more careful as a well-known person."
