Big Bang's 'ALIVE' is enjoying success in Japan.
The Korean version of 'ALIVE' recently surpassed the 250,000 sales mark in Korea and went Double Platinum in Taiwan. Their success has continued into Japan as the Japanese version of 'ALIVE' has been certified 'Gold' by the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan).
When an album sells more than 100,000 copies, the RIAJ publicly acknowledges the artist's achievement, labeling the album as 'Gold'. Other certifications include Platinum (250,000 copies), Double Platinum (500,000 copies), and Million (1,000,000).
Concluding their promotions in Korea, the group will now be focusing on their World Tour as they will have thirteen shows in Japan and are expecting to bring in over 150,000 of their Japanese fans.
Congratulations to Big Bang!
