Rookie singer Ailee will bring her amazing vocals to the baseball diamond as she is set to sing the national anthem on opening day for the 2012 KBO (Korean Baseball Organization) season.

On April 4th, YMC Entertainment announced that Ailee will perform on the 7th in Incheon at Moon Hak Stadium in a match between the SK Wyverns and the Kia Tigers.

Singing the national anthem on opening day is a great honor and previous singers who've participated include Cho Yong Pil, Kim Bum Soo, Park Jung Hyun and Taeyeon of Girls' Generation.� For a rookie singer like Ailee to receive such an honor, it seems that her vocal ability has already been acknowledged by many.

Ailee communicated her excitement stating, "I would have been happy to just attend opening day, but to be able to sing the national anthem there is a huge honor. I hope that none of the athletes get hurt and have a good game. I will root for you all until the last game of the season."

Ailee made her debut with a digital single in February titled "Heaven" and showed her immense vocals as well as fresh style to fans. Her name has consistently appeared on various music lists for the past two months.
