VIBE's Yoon Min Soo's potential of becoming the fourth graduate of MBC's 'I Am A Singer' is drawing much attention and interest from fans and viewers.
On January 16th, 'I Am A Singer' held its recording for the second contest of the twelfth round in which an elimination took place. Because this day's recording determined whether Yoon Min Soo would graduate or get eliminated, fans and viewers' attention was heightened even more.
Yoon Min Soo, who joined 'I Am A Singer' in August last year, will be honored as the program's fourth graduate if he was able to attain high results from this round.
According to a music industry representative, Yoon Min Soo tried his best and gave his all as he sang Baek Ji Young's "Don't Forget", the OST track for the drama "IRIS". Hence, the curiousity and attention on whether Yoon Min Soo was able to leave "I Am A Singer" with a graduation is escalating.
Meanwhile, "I Am A Singer" is a program where singers/groups compete through 7 rounds, and once they have achieved all 7 rounds, they are honored with a 'honorary graduation', where the singer/group is able to leave the show honorably and happily. Though this seems easy, given that the competitors are the nation's best vocalists and bands, the intensity of the weekly competition displayed that even the best singers had a difficult time graduating from the program.
"I Am A Singer" first aired last March and had a total of 26 singers participate in the competition. However only three singers, Park Jung Hyun, Kim Bum Soo, and Jaurim have been able to successfully leave the show with a graduation.
