Hwang Jung Eum, the new CF queen, revealed that she used to look like Wong Fei Hong before. She was interviewed on the set of her photoshoot for a CF endorsement by KBS2TV Entertainment Relay. During the interview, her debut picture was shown to her. But it wasn't a picture of her on stage or in a magazine, it was a picture of her from a textbook. Yes, Hwang Jung Eum debuted as a model for a textbook. She said, "In that picture, I looked like Hwang Fei Hong (spin-off of Wong Fei Hong, a Chinese folk hero). I was pretty young back then and was shocked at how I looked. I thought to myself, 'Do I look like this?'" She also showed her ID photo and got complimented for it. Though she gets about 15 CFs these days, there was only 15000 won (~$13 USD) in her wallet then. Hwang Jung Eum was recently chosen as the "celebrity that wouldn't be afraid of alien invasion." She commented, "I do get scared easily but if it's cute, I would take it home and have fun with it." She sure lives in her own little world.
