I guess turning off your glowsticks en masse ŕ la Dream Concert 2008 is out of fashion; apparently, throwing them at SNSD is all the rage nowadays. Go figure. It's been reported that 50-100 glowsticks were launched at the nine-membered group during their White Day concert on March 14, a series of actions that already has many netizens and S?NES up in arms. At first, many were unsure whether the action was deliberate to begin with, but as more fan accounts began to emerge regarding the matter, more evidence began to suggest that this was a planned event by anti-fans. Luckily for you readers, a few videos have been uploaded that caught said actions on tape: Check out 0:26 for the throw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zKt75qY2X1M Furthermore, another video reveals a person clearly throwing a glowstick at the stage at 0:33. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obcnqmpv8fc It's unclear whether any glowsticks actually hit any of the SNSD girls (some fan accounts claim that Seohyun and Jessica were hit), but it's been said that a few of the glowsticks made it onto the stage. One fan also claimed that, at the end of the performance, Sooyoung said that whoever had thrown glowsticks should take them back. So why would something like this occur so seemingly out of the blue? Some fans are wondering whether the green color of the glowsticks indicates a specific fanclub; however, the only artists with green as an official color are SS501 and Ivy, neither of which have had recent interactions with SNSD. A few netizens speculate that this was a response to the Pepero game YoonA had with 2PM's Taecyeon and 2AM's Jo Kwon. However, with no concrete evidence actually pointing at Hottests at all, it's difficult to assume anything right now. Keep in mind that this is completely based off fan accounts, so fans should take everything with a grain of salt before pointing fingers at anyone else.
