Actor Hyun Bin takes on his most challenging role yet in 'Harbin', where he'll transform into Korean independence fighter Ahn Joong Geun.
'Harbin' takes place in 1909, when members of a grassroots independence army travels to the city of Harbin, China for one goal, to assassinate the "leader of the pack" of the Japanese invaders. Meanwhile, intelligence agents sent by opposing forces track down their movements, seeking to snuff out all forms of resistance.
Ahead of its domestic premiere in December of this year, 'Harbin' will premiere exclusively at the '2024 Toronto International Film Festival'.
Directed by Woo Min Ho of 'The Man Standing Next' (2020) and starring Hyun Bin, Lee Dong Wook, Park Jung Min, Jo Woo Jin, Jeon Yeo Bin, and more, 'Harbin' premieres in theaters across Korea in December. Watch the first trailer, above.
