Go Kyung Pyo revealed an anecdote of auditioning for an abusive director.
On June 21st, Go Kyung Pyo made a guest appearance on Daesung's YouTube channel. During the episode, Go Kyung Pyo shared behind-the-scenes stories of his acting career, including many failed auditions. One of the questions Daesung asked was if he had ever cried after auditioning.
Go Kyung Pyo answered, "I have cried both because it went bad and well." He continued, "In one audition that went bad, the director didn't show much reaction. But when I was about to leave, he grabbed me and asked if I would take the role of a dead body. I was 20 years old back then so I said yes. He asked me why so I replied that I would love to gain more experience on the set and I believe I would learn a lot. Then he went, 'I'm not a person to give you a hands-on experience. Get out. Do you want to make a bet with me? I bet you'll never become an actor.' I guess he just wanted to lash his stress out on me."
The relevant segment starts around the 33:03 mark of the video above.
