Seventeen's first ever English-language single release as a group since debut, "Darl+ing" was composed and written by member Woozi and singer/song-writer BUMZU, and depicts one's feelings of love and affection for their cherished person. The title "Darl+ing" signifies an endearing name for addressed a loved one, as well as the connection between two individuals through love, using the "+" symbol.

The song is catchy and perfect for their vibe. I love the beat and the lyrics and how the music video beautifully portrayed the meaning of the song. I also like the color palette/ tone that they used and it was visually pleasing overall i love it 🧡
