On August 15, hip hop music label H1GHR MUSIC unveiled a teaser for what seems to be 'DNA Remix's' new MV.
Earlier on, 'DNA Remix' featuring Jay Park, YLN Foreign, D.Ark, 365LIT, pH-1, lIlBOI, Lee Young Ji, Ourealgoat, Choo and OSUN released an MV in April.
However, the track and MV were accused of cultural appropriation of African-American culture. The artists were spotted hairstyles such as afros, braids and dreadlocks, despite not being Black. In response to these accusations, Jay Park posted a response on the MV's comment section, however, the MV was quickly privatized afterwards.
Meanwhile, this new MV's teaser seem to be a whole new take on this track as the video feature a young Korean boy walking around a Hanok village (traditional Korean houses). The video ends with a back view of Jay Park holding a South Korean flag on his back.
Meanwhile, the MV will be released later today, August 15 at 8:15PM KST.
What do you think of this situation and the new MV teaser?
I just want to know why Blacks weren't portrayed as the Blacks? Pretty stupid. Otherwise, I could care less. BTSxARMY TOGETHER FOREVER 💜
