Producer group The Colleagues, well-known by K-Pop fans for their hit work "Rookie" by Red Velvet, is piquing the curiosity of fans with the upload of two never-before-heard demo version songs meant for EXO and Red Velvet.
Last week, The Colleagues Music Group uploaded a demo version of an unreleased Red Velvet song called "Figure It Out". Then, on July 14 EST, the team uploaded yet another unreleased demo track, this time a song meant for EXO called "Maybe I".
This is the first time ever that fans of both EXO and Red Velvet are hearing of the existence of these two unreleased songs. As a result, many netizens are curious as to why The Colleague Music Group decided to upload the demo versions.
Some commented that Red Velvet's "Figure It Out" could very well be a song for their upcoming comeback album, expected for release in August. Others also felt that EXO's "Maybe I" would be an appropriate track for any solo members of EXO, such as for Kai.
On the other hand, some fans wondered if the two songs were published as demo versions via YouTube because they were "scrapped" songs, ones which may remain hidden and unreleased despite being completed.
Why do you think The Colleagues decided to upload the demo versions of Red Velvet's "Figure It Out" and EXO's "Maybe I" recently?
Wow Maybe I matches Exo's vibe so much 😭
