MAMAMOO's Hwa Sa dominated on the large electronic billboards at the center of New York City's Times Square, for her 26th birthday.
In July, the global K-pop fan platform 'Whosfan' held a 4-week long online poll that asked "Who is the idol that should have their birthday celebrated in Times Square?" Hwa Sa, whose birthday falls on July 23rd, ultimately ranked #1 in the poll. With the support of Whosfan, a major birthday advertisement for her 26th birthday was displayed at the center of Times Square. Among the other K-pop idols with July birthdays, TREASURE's Jaehyuk followed with a rank of #2, and SF9's Dawon ranked #3.
Hwa Sa's birthday advertisement will be displayed for one week, from July 19 to July 25, at the heart of New York City's Times Square.
