On May 10, NIve, a Korean-American artist from the newly established label 153 Entertainment, made his debut with an inspirational track "Who I Am."
"Who I Am," written by NIve, Blair Taylor, and Michael Jefferson and produced by Hyuk Shin of 153 Entertainment, is based on NIve's personal experience with self-discovery and empowerment.
NIve explained, "Who I Am’ was written after taking years of life lessons and insecurities and turning them into a moment of self-empowerment, understanding that all of those experiences have made me who I am today and that’s a beautiful thing."
The singer wishes to give listeners an opportunity to feel good about themselves and their imperfections, "but in the end, it’s all a part of truly helping you understand who you are,” said NIve.
Prior to his debut with "Who I Am," NIve has also co-written "Beautiful Goodbye" for EXO Chen's solo debut album.
