Can someone summarize this up for me๐ฅน

Sophia... I posted this in details and included netizen comments! -_-
sum: Moon Jae In and his party members are corrupt. He's handing over his presidency in a few days but he passed a law that will restrain prosecutors from investigating them. Also people on Naver say Moon Jae In should be jailed (DPK is Democratic Party of Korea-Moon JaeIn's)
These are lies not facts... Yeah, fans buy a lot of versions and stuff, but BE literally only had TWO and still sold more than all other kpop albums in 2020 (except MOTS7)... Another mistake? you can't deny that the general public knows bts, the best selling album in 2021 in japan was bts (not just kpop) and in korea they appear all the time in the news, even in the gallup survey they are quite mentioned and their songs too (yes, not just by teenagers). I understand that generations are different and the development of technology too, but let's make something clear:
-Bigbang had great mediaplay even in his time, bts didn't.
-BTS have numerous hits in korea (like spring day, dynamite or bwl...even Fire is played a lot on variety shows) and they are the biggest kpop act out there (even with all the arguments, their tour and influence cannot be denied).
You skip the most important part about selling the albums. Multi-version is the last one to affect the album sales. There are not many groups who give lottery codes along with the albums. Those lottery codes have always been the most efficient marketing strategy to boost album sales in Japan. You want to attend the handshake or high-five event? The more albums you buy, the more chance you get. Because of pandemic there was no handshake event but BTS used other gimmicks such as special online events and special gifts. Besides most of Armys are like you whose mind is always on numbers. So fanclubs and fans, as stated in the article, buy a lot of copies.
Being the best selling artist in Japan in 2021 doesn't make them publicly known or very popular.. because of the reasons i listed above+we are in 2021. There is a huge decrease in physical album sales all over the world but Kpop fans are the ones who still trying to push it and brag about it-> BoA sold over 2 millions with 1 album in 2000s, KARA and SNSD as Kpop groups sold over a million with 1 of their album in 2010s in Japan but they couldn't top the chart.
"in korea they appear all the time in the news, even in the gallup survey they are quite mentioned and their songs too"-> this is why. Korean media publish a lot of things about BTS all day long and talk about their Billboard records etc (fun fact, Billboard stated that Armys manipulated Billboard chart), and Korean people see the news on the main page.
BTS have numerous hits? xD You really thikn that? Armys stream the songs all day long, international armys get access codes to Melon and stream BTS, and BTS has a lot of hits? A lot of Koreans complained about this in Naver's comment section. It's funny that Armys buy a lot of physical albums, stream all day long and then claim that everyone listens to them. Watch the street interviews in Korea about BTS and Bigbang. Literraly NOBODY knows BTS songs. They just say they know the names. "Do you know BTS? -Yeah I know" "Do you know Butter?-Yes I know, they topped Billboard chart, I saw on the news, I'm proud." "Can you sing Butter?-uhh.mmm..errrrr. I don't know the song." All of them are like this. That's it. Just go on Youtube.
And how can an Army talk about media play? It really surprises me when I see Armys talk about media play when BTS is the one who's using it since their debut. There are many more but I will just post these ones for now.
What OP was saying is that in Oricon's chart history, 2021 was the first year when foreign artist was the "best selling" artist, instead of Japanese artist. MJ in hi heyday sold more than 1M albums in Japan at the year-end, topping the Oricon album chart, but still there was a Japanese artist who earned more money from album sales than MJ in Japan at that time. Best Selling is counted in dollars/yen from all albums (latest release and past release) sales at the year-end. If an artist released two albums topping #2 and #3, he may not be the #1, but he could be the best selling artist.
LOL you wish. Another one spreading lies. Michael Jackson's Thriller topped the chart for 1983 and also Thriller is the 2nd best selling album between 1980-1989 as you can see on the SS. There is no info about how many copies Thriller and the ones at 1st, 3rd and 4th places sold in Japan but if you check the Japanese wikipedia page of the one ranked 5th in 80s, his album 9.5 Carats sold 1.55 million copies, which means Michael Jackson's at least 2 million.
Aigoo.....We're talking abt da album sales in 2021, I d i o t. Anyway, shame on Arashi for not leading da sales in 2021. In a nutshell, our ๐BTS Kings outsold Arashi in Japan, stupid ๋๋. It's a record making achievement for our ๐B T S Kings! ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
lmao. BTS outsold Arashi? Arashi disbanded in 2020and finally BTS had a chance to top the chart.
Allkpop. Don't publish articles with wrong infos. BTS is not the first foreign artist to top the year end chart. The first foreign artist to top the chart since Michael Jackson. And the reason is because physical album sales decreased all around the world including in Japan. Also Arashi who had been topping the year end chart every year disbanded last year and didnt release anything in 2021.
Amber see your DM please
Lol at Armies saying that he said the exact same thing about BTS and that he would say the exact same if there was another group. Yet you were the ones hyped them as the biggest group in the world since his words. He would have said the exact same thing if there was another group rather than BTS, too. Got it now?
620 million? I don't know if Armys are bad at maths or the best at manipulation. It's 62 million which is considered low for a Chinese video site

Once more I see you can never communicate with ignorant armys.
The article clearly indicates this idea: Armys keep accusing other groups of plagiarism but there is nothing original in Kpop, as you can see BTS did similar things too, so stop accusing others...
Armys reaction: THIS IS A HATE ARTICLE!! BTS IS UNIQUE, THEY DONT COPY ANYONE, LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PLAGIARISM AND INSPIRATION!!!
I'm glad that I got out of this fandom earlier. I like BTS but Armys...
That's right, thank u for your explanation :) Although i've already said that at the end of article, it seems they didnt get it..
Someone should tell Korean netizens that a lot of celebrities were invited to White House, including Tiktok stars lol
