Red Velvet has just released the newest set of teasers for their upcoming album ‘Cosmic.’ The concept photos continue to feature the beautiful but unsettling ‘Midsommar’ vibes of the comeback, and the individual photos highlight each member’s beauty.
‘Cosmic’ will be released on June 24.

The first thing that came to mind was a Ukrainian round dance. I was especially struck by the ribbons attached to the wreath and the embroidered shirts. Among the Slavs, ribbons attached to a wreath meant a symbol of maiden honor, beauty, good fortune, and purity. Some peoples have flower wreaths, but only the Eastern Slavs have ribbons attached to them. And I understand that such embroidery can be in any country, but this particular combination is very reminiscent of a Ukrainian costume.
