Lately, there has been a lot of news on the discord within the Korean national soccer team.
The news was initially reported two days ago when a media outlet reported that there was a serious conflict between the members of the South Korean national team.
The reports stated a physical altercation allegedly ensued between star players Son Heung Min and Lee Kang In, resulting in Son Heung Min sustaining a fractured finger. Lee Kang In issued an apology, denying the accusation of physical assault, but repercussions have already begun, with companies withdrawing promotional campaigns featuring him.
Then, on February 16, a fan posted a video of Son Heung Min struggling to hold a pen while signing an autograph due to his injury. The video was posted on a popular online community where other netizens expressed their concerns for his well-being.
Korean netizens commented, "He does seem like he's having a hard time," "Sigh... He definitely looks uncomfortable...Given the situation, it seems like he might not have even received treatment from an orthopedic specialist at first, which is upsetting," "He looks like he's in pain," "I had a fracture on my finger and it was really painful," "He should get proper treatment," "Where is his finger cast?" "I want to give him my hand since I have no use for it," "Please don't be hurt," "I hope he gets treatment so it heals fast and well," and "Please get better soon."
For him to have difficulty in signing, it means he didn't get a proper treatment for his fingers which is wrong. They need to fix it in other to avoid any further damage to those fingers.
