[TW Trigger Warning]
A man in his 20s is seen walking nonchalantly toward an electric scooter parked on the side of the road. He then takes his phone out of his pocket before he gets on the scooter disappearing somewhere.
This is the man who chased a woman who was on her way to work and ran away after strangling her and making her faint.
This happened early morning of July 11 in Haengsin-dong, Goyang-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The woman came to her senses and called 112, and the police tracked the man's movements through surveillance cameras.
Eventually, the man was found in his residence. However, he was unconscious after trying to take his own life. The police immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation and transported the man to a nearby hospital.
After the man gained consciousness two days later, the police arrested the man on suspicion of injuring the woman.
The man denied the charge during the police investigation, saying he was drunk and did not remember. However, the court issued an arrest warrant on July 14, saying the man is a potential flight risk.
The Gyeonggi Goyang Police Station is investigating the exact circumstances of the incident, including the motive for the crime.
She will remember and that's enough. Hope the law won't excuse him just because he was intoxicated 🙄
