Rookie boy group LNGSHOT, launched by Jay Park under More Vision, made a surprise onstage appearance at Hanyang University’s festival in Seoul on September 19, 2025 KST and performed an unreleased track despite minimal pre-release information.
After the event, Jay Park tagged the group’s official account and posted member photos on Instagram. Images showing Jay Park and the members giving a middle-finger pose prompted criticism from some viewers, with comments such as “Flipping the bird at your first reveal?” and “Why start with a middle finger—who exactly are you aiming for?”
In the same post, Jay Park wrote, “Aren’t my kids handsome? I can’t promise we’ll sell the most, but I can promise we’ll do K-pop the coolest,” adding the hashtag #middlefingertothenorm.
LNGSHOT have been previewed across campus stages in recent weeks with snippets of a new song and partially obscured member photos. The four-member lineup—OHYUL, RYUL, WOOJIN, LOUIS—is preparing for an official debut targeted for January 2026 KST.
