NMIXX member Sullyoon recently participated in a photoshoot and interview with ELLE magazine, where she shared insights about the group’s latest comeback, her experiences as an MC, and her well-loved nickname, ‘General Sullyoon.’
During the interview, Sullyoon revealed that her mind was fully occupied with NMIXX’s fourth EP, ‘Fe3O4: FORWARD’, which was in preparation at the time of the shoot. “My biggest focus right now is our comeback. The members and I have been discussing how to best showcase our performance and song. Our title track, ‘KNOW ABOUT ME,’ maintains NMIXX’s signature sound but has a more refined and restrained vibe compared to our previous title songs. I believe it will highlight our more mature side.”
Having served as an MC for ‘Show! Music Core’ for nearly two years, Sullyoon also expressed her excitement for the upcoming music show promotions. “Many people think music shows are tough because of the recording schedules and long waiting times, but there are also many enjoyable aspects. The best part is seeing our fans up close. Watching them cheer for us with their lightsticks is so adorable, and it gives me strength.”
Regarding her nickname, ‘General Sullyoon,’ she commented, “I love it! I want people around me, including my fellow members, to see me as a strong and dependable presence.” She then added, “For me, my members are my greatest source of strength. Whether we’re performing on stage or traveling overseas, I feel confident as long as I’m with them.”
Since their March 17 comeback, NMIXX has been actively promoting their new album. The group is also set to continue their second fan concert tour in Taipei and Hong Kong this April.
