
Actress Han Ji Min and Jannabi’s Choi Jung Hoon have both stepped up to help those affected by recent wildfires.
On March 26th, Han Ji Min donated 50 million won (approx. $37,000 USD) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to support firefighters battling wildfires in Ulsan, Gyeongbuk, and Gyeongnam.
Her donation will be used to raise awareness and improve treatment for firefighters who are risking their lives on the frontlines of various disaster sites, including wildfires.
In her message to Hope Bridge, Han Ji Min stated, “I send my condolences to those affected by the wildfires and thank the firefighters for their dedication. I sincerely hope the fires will be extinguished soon, without further casualties.”
Her partner, Choi Jung Hoon of Jannabi, also joined the effort by donating 10 million won (approx. $7,400 USD) to Hope Bridge. Despite being busy with concert preparations, he showed his warm heart by contributing to wildfire recovery efforts.
Han Ji Min and Choi Jung Hoon are among a growing list of celebrities contributing to wildfire relief. Other stars who have donated include Suzy, Go Min Si, Kim Na Young, Lee Chan Won, Yoo Jae Suk, Im Si Wan, NCT’s Haechan, So Yoo Jin, Shim Jin Hwa, Kim Jin Woo, Chun Woo Hee, and Jang Min Ho.
