The D Awards (also known as The Stars' Feast), the highly anticipated K-pop awards ceremony, has heightened excitement with the announcement of its second lineup.
On the 13th, the D Awards confirmed the second wave of artists, including N.Flying, P1Harmony, tripleS, ZEROBASEONE, and 82MAJOR, who will elevate the ceremony with their performances.
N.Flying is set to grace the D Awards stage. Known for their success with "Rooftop," N.Flying continued their momentum last year with "Blue Moon," a hit that solidified their place in the K-pop scene. Additionally, leader Seunghyeob's appearance in the drama Lovely Runner became a viral sensation, while their drama OST "Star" also achieved massive success, proving N.Flying’s ongoing influence in the industry.
P1Harmony has demonstrated their global impact with the release of their first full album Killin’ It and their 7th mini album SAD SONG. The group achieved their highest-ever position on the U.S. Billboard 200, ranking #16. They were also named "Favorite Team Dynamic" in Consequence magazine’s 2024 K-pop Yearbook, sparking further buzz.
tripleS made a significant mark last year with their diverse musical activities. Their first full album ASSEMBLE24 was named one of the "50 Best Albums of 2024" by NME, making them the only K-pop girl group to receive the honor. The title track "Girls Never Die" became a massive hit, solidifying tripleS as a prominent name in the K-pop scene.
ZEROBASEONE had a groundbreaking year in 2023, releasing two mini albums and a Japanese single. Their 4th mini album sold over 1 million copies on its first day of release, making them the first K-pop group to achieve "million-seller" status with all four of their albums. Their Timeless World tour attracted 140,000 fans globally, further establishing their international influence.
82MAJOR will attend their first-ever awards ceremony after debuting in October 2023. The group achieved impressive milestones, including ranking #45 on Billboard’s Album Sales chart and #37 on the Current Album Sales chart in November. In December, they made a notable entry into the U.S. DRT Global Top 150 Independent Airplay Chart, securing 6th place. Known for their strong live performance skills, the group has gained global popularity, further fueled by the success of their song "Stuck."
The D Awards, which initially revealed its first lineup featuring artists like ENHYPEN, FIFTY FIFTY, QWER, TWS, and UNIS on the 6th, has now completed a stellar roster with the addition of these groups in the second lineup.
The 1st D Awards will take place on February 22nd at 6:00 PM KST at the Hwajung Gymnasium, Korea University in Seoul.
