Actress Kim Hye-yoon shared her candid approach to managing her emotions, stating, “If I feel like crying, I just cry.”
On December 31, GQ Korea published a written interview with Kim Hye-yoon on their official social media channels.
In the feature titled If You’re Feeling Down at the End of the Year, Think Like Hye-yoon, she shared her perspective on handling emotions: “If you feel like crying, just cry once. The time you spend crying is usually very short. Prolonging it won’t solve anything, and crying alone won’t fix what’s happened.”
Reflecting on a pivotal moment in her life, Kim said, “When I was a senior in college, my professor asked me what I planned to do after graduation and if I intended to continue with this career. That question really shocked me. I had never considered anything outside of acting. I think I just endured each day silently, moving forward step by step. That seems to describe my journey.”
She also discussed her thoughts on the drama Lovely Runner. Kim said, “It feels both refreshing and bittersweet. Sol and Seonjae come back to me like waves, but I feel like they’ll eventually disappear. I really can’t believe it’s over. Im Sol was a character who stayed very close to me for a long time.”
Meanwhile, Kim Hye-yoon is set to appear in the upcoming SBS drama I’m Human From Today.
