Behind-the-scenes photos from ‘Squid Game 2’ filming revealed.
On January 7th KST, Netflix released a series of never-before-seen stills from the filming of ‘Squid Game’ Season 2, showcasing the cast and director in action.
The upcoming season captures the intense rivalry between Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), who returns to the deadly game seeking revenge, and the Frontman (Lee Byung Hun). Alongside returning cast members, Season 2 introduces a host of new faces, including Kang Ha Neul, Im Siwan, Jo Yu Ri, Lee Seo Hwan, and Kang Ae Sim, adding depth and excitement to the story.
The revealed photos show Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, Kang Ha Neul, Lee Seo Hwan, and Jo Yu Ri preparing for a “five-legged” team scene, all smiling brightly while waiting to film.
Fans were particularly drawn to the lighthearted and cheerful expressions of Lee Jung Jae and Kang Ha Neul, a stark contrast to the grim tone of the series. Even Lee Jin Wook, whose character’s backstory remains a mystery, is seen smiling warmly.
Additionally, glimpses of Chae Gook Hee, Won Ji An, and Gong Yoo, among others, further highlight the star-studded lineup for Season 2, fueling anticipation for the already confirmed Season 3.
‘Squid Game 2’ is set to release later this year on Netflix.
