According to entertainment industry insiders on the 21st, Chanhyuk and fromis_9's Lee Sae Rom, who had been dating for about a year, ended their relationship last year.

The two were first caught up in dating rumors in October 2022. Speculation about their relationship arose after eyewitness accounts of the pair enjoying dates at a workshop and posting photos taken at the same location on their social media accounts. At the time, YG Entertainment, Lee Chan Hyuk's agency, commented, "It is difficult to confirm as it is the artist's private life," while Pledis Entertainment, Lee Sae Rom's agency, chose to remain silent. Their reserved responses were widely interpreted as a tacit acknowledgment of the relationship.

According to a close acquaintance, the two continued seeing each other after the rumors surfaced but ended their relationship last year. Since the couple never officially confirmed their relationship, their stance on the breakup remains undisclosed.

Meanwhile, Lee Chan Hyuk gained public recognition after appearing on SBS's 'K-Pop Star 2' in 2012 alongside his younger sister Lee Su Hyun as the sibling duo Akdong Musician. He made his official debut in 2014 and has since produced numerous hit songs. In 2022, he released his first solo album, 'ERROR,' showcasing his distinct musical style.

Lee Sae Rom, who debuted as a member of fromis_9 in 2017 after being selected through Mnet's 'Idol School,' has remained active in the industry. In December 2023, fromis_9 left their agency following the expiration of their exclusive contract with Pledis Entertainment.
