In an episode of SBS' variety show 'Whenever Possible,' South Korean actor Kim Dae Myung confessed that he had taken the college exam five times before finally passing it.
Dae Myung, who graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in performing arts, revealed that he took an exam five times "because I wanted to act no matter what." He recalled, "When I passed, a clown appeared on the screen, and it felt like it was mocking me, saying 'You came this far?' It felt so unreal that I stared at the screen for a long time."
Kim Jong Min then sympathized with the actor, sharing a similar event when he took the driver's license test. "The passing score was 70 points, but I failed with 68 points, and then I got 64 points the next time. I failed three times," he said, making Kim Dae Myung laugh.
'Whenever Possible' (directed by Choi Bo Pil and written by Chae Jin Ah) is a variety show that delivers luck in the brief gaps found in everyday life.
