According to an exclusive media outlet report on January 17 KST, five members of fromis_9 are headed for Big Planet Made, the entertainment agency established by MC Mong. 

So far, it is unknown which five members have decided to pursue music activities with Big Planet Made. The other three members are currently seeking opportunities elsewhere, suggesting that the group will no longer promote as 8-members. 

Meanwhile, fromis_9 bid farewell to Pledis Entertainment on December 31, 2024. The group, made up of members Saerom, Hayoung, Jiwon, Jisun, Seoyeon, Chaeyoung, and Jiheon, debuted in 2018 after being selected through the Mnet survival program 'Idol School'.

Big Planet Made, home to SHINee's Taemin, Lee Mu Jin, NU'EST's Ren, Lee Seung Gi, Ha Sung Woon, BADVILLAIN, and more, previously recruited three members of GFriend and launched VIVIZ.

[UPDATE] According to an official statement by Big Planet Made shortly after the above report, "It is not true that 5 members of fromis_9 will be relocating to Big Planet Made."
