TEMPEST recently completed their solo concerts in Japan, delighting fans with powerful performances and memorable moments.
The group held their ‘2024 TEMPEST Concert T-Hour: TEMPEST Voyage in Japan’ on December 14th and 15th in Osaka and Tokyo, respectively.
Opening the show with their Japanese pre-debut tracks ‘Baddest Behavior’ and ‘Dragon (飛上)’ as well as ‘Young & Wild,’ TEMPEST greeted their fans with enthusiasm.
“It’s been 1 year and 4 months since our last solo concert in Japan,” the members said. “Since both we and iE (official fandom name) have been waiting so long, let’s make today unforgettable!” they declared, showcasing their excitement and determination.
The group performed not only their officially released Japanese tracks such as ‘Bang!’ and ‘Bubble Gum,’ but also prepared covers of songs by iconic Japanese idol groups SMAP and Arashi. In celebration of the holiday season, they also presented a cover of the Backstreet Boys’ ‘Last Christmas,’ which received an enthusiastic response from fans.
TEMPEST shared their gratitude, saying, “We’ve been looking forward to meeting you all at this concert, and it makes us so happy to see how much fun you’re having. We feel energized by your support and will continue to repay you with great music and performances.”
The concerts follow the release of TEMPEST’s second Japanese mini-album, ‘Bubble Gum,’ on December 11th, which debuted at No. 7 on the Oricon Daily Album Chart. The group, which gained attention with their Japanese debut mini-album ‘Bang!’ in April, continues to solidify their global presence, achieving even greater success with their latest release.
Looking ahead, TEMPEST plans to connect with fans worldwide, performing not only in Korea and Japan but across the globe.
