Stray Kids’ Felix joins UNICEF Korea’s ‘UNICEF Team’ campaign.
On December 23rd KST, the Korean Committee for UNICEF announced that Stray Kids member Felix would participate in its ‘UNICEF Team’ campaign. Launched in 2018, this campaign encourages people to unite as one team to support children around the world facing challenges such as war, disasters, and poverty.
As a Goodwill Ambassador for the Korean Committee, Felix will collaborate with UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador Kim Yuna, Korean Committee Goodwill Ambassador Kim Hye Soo, and Faker, who raises awareness for UNICEF through digital content as a ‘Unicaster.’ Through this campaign, Felix will spread messages of concern and participation for children in need, contributing his talents to the cause.
Felix has consistently demonstrated his commitment to making a positive impact alongside UNICEF. In January this year, he donated 100 million KRW(approximately 70,000 USD) to support children in Laos who struggle with poor nutrition and lack of access to clean water. His contribution made him the youngest member of UNICEF’s ‘Honors Club,’ which recognizes donors who contribute over 100 million KRW. In February, Felix visited UNICEF project sites in Laos to support programs addressing child malnutrition and water sanitation. Furthermore, on his birthday, September 15th, he donated an additional 50 million KRW to UNICEF.
With his genuine dedication to the well-being and growth of children worldwide, Felix was appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the Korean Committee for UNICEF in September. Through his continued actions, he exemplifies the spirit of giving and compassion.
