Stray Kids unveils teaser for title track ‘Walkin On Water’ music video.

Stray Kids will release a new album, SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’, on December 13 KST. JYP Entertainment has been building excitement by sharing high-quality teaser content on its official social media channels, including concept photos, ‘UNVEIL: TRACK’, and mashup videos. On December 9 KST, they dropped the first teaser for the music video of the title track, ‘Walkin On Water’.

The teaser showcases the unique charms and individuality of all eight members: Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N. With a grand yet hip sound, the group announces their spectacular return as a “concept powerhouse.” The music video blends classical aesthetics with modern trends, raising expectations for the full release. Notably, the innovative visuals inspired by the title’s keyword, “Water,” hint at the video’s grand scale and stunning cinematography.

SKZHOP HIPTAPE combines “SKZ,” the group’s acronym, with “hip-hop,” introducing a “new genre unique to Stray Kids.” The first installment, ‘合 (HOP)’, carries a double meaning, combining the idea of unity (“合”) and “HOP” from hip-hop. The group’s producing team, 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han), contributed to the production of ‘Walkin On Water.’

Recently, Stray Kids garnered global attention as nominees for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards in categories such as Top Duo/Group, Top K-Pop Album, and Top Global K-Pop Artist, earning enthusiastic support from fans worldwide.

Stray Kids’ SKZHOP HIPTAPE ‘合 (HOP)’ and the title track ‘Walkin On Water’ will officially be released on December 13 at 2 PM KST (midnight EST).
