Rapper Woodie Gochild recently revealed that he had been involved in a serious accident where he fell from a three-story rooftop.

On December 17, Woodie Gochild shared the news on his social media account, posting a photo of his face along with an update on his current condition.

He began his message with, "Hello, everyone. It's Woodie," and went on to say, "Every year, I try to express my gratitude at the end and start of the year, but due to personal circumstances, I haven’t been able to properly do so. This time, however, the situation is even more serious, so I felt the need to share an update."

Explaining the circumstances of the accident, he said, "The final chapter of my 20s, which didn’t go entirely in the right direction, ended with me falling from the rooftop of a three-story building to the ground floor."

Fortunately, the outcome was not as dire as it could have been. He shared, "I was incredibly lucky. Thankfully, there was no life-threatening danger." He also reassured fans. "Instead, with some simple rehabilitation, I’ve been able to regain the ability to move my body. Now, I’m able to face a new decade as I enter my 30s."

He admitted this experience allowed him to reflect on his life and explained, "There was a time when I used to judge people's lives based on material values and appearances, ideals I had when I was younger." However, the accident made him realize that those things were no longer important. He said he has now accepted this change in perspective and vowed to create brighter and more enjoyable music going forward.

Woodie Gochild had recently been appearing on the JTBC variety show 'The Gentlemen's League,' where he played soccer alongside coach Ahn Jung Hwan, assistant coach Kim Nam Il, and coach Jo Won Hee. Reflecting on his time on the show, he shared that he had been able to enjoy soccer while forming close friendships with the senior members and castmates. He added that his interactions with them gave him valuable insights into life.

Following the accident, Woodie Gochild announced, "For now, I have stopped all the work I was doing to focus on my recovery." He emphasized that his top priority is to fully recover his health.

Woodie Gochild first rose to fame as a contestant on the popular Show Me The Money series and is currently an artist under H1GHR MUSIC Records, where he continues his career as a rapper.
